Universities Research:

    Teesside Uni - Film and Television production BA(Hons) - Update my overall skills.

    Teesside Uni - Animation BA(Hons) - learn a new skill to include within business to offer as an additional service to save on employing an animator for the company, i can learn at unit then self teach anyone who want to work for me in the future as I'll know the relevant skills.

Reasoning behind my selections, if needed and i would like to go to university i can choose from the ones above, it would have to be in the local area to keep things going with my business to ensure steady growth and sales.

Below is my Media CV that I have created on Canva, this media cv is more tailored towards the media industry and creatives, so all work on there is from any experience within the media industry. I have tried to make it eye catching but also professional to ensure i have a good chance when applying to Jobs or University just to prove my level of experience.

Task 2 - Personal Statement :

Here is my personal statement that i have been working on, it includes all of my major achievements and goals that i am proud of. Also discussing what i have previously achieved, GCSE's and college were included in my personal statement, even bits about my work i have done for myself, going into more detail on what i do a well.

Task 4 - UCAS Application or Employment/Job application for next year :

My Employment / Job application has been decided and i am currently awaiting a contract to provide on the blog to prove my employment as of 27/09/2023.

Attached below is my UCAS Application for 2024, this is ready to be sent off if i wish to go to university. However currently i more than likely will not be going as i feel like I'm in a good position and don't require University in my current path but its something that i may re-visit in a year or two depending on my achievements over the next year or two.





Task 5 - Analysis of skills you would like to work on :

Core Skills Lesson:

In lesson we ranked ourselves from 1-10 on specific job roles and looked at what was good and what we could improve on. Attached at the bottom is my document showing the skill ranking below in a table with a written explanation as to what i'm going to do and how in the form of an analysis.

Lesson 1 : Task 1 - Describe what a soundscape is :      A soundscape is a collection of sound effects conjoined together to create an atmosphere, this can be birds, wind, bike cycling and rain, this together could be a soundscape of a specific location such as a park during the spring when it rains, you get a feel for the environment through sound. Hello my name is Oliver Johnson and i'm 16,  During this course at Stockton Riverside Collage i'm mostly looking forward to getting additional hands on experience as well as some additional knowledge about using cameras and setting up scenes and film sets.  I have previously studied iMedia at Macmillan Academy for 2 years and got a L2D in that which is really useful for my future career that will conclude of potentially running my own business and making client videos for customers or external businesses, during those 2 years i learned a lot about health and safety as well as some extra things like how to plan for shoots and stuff etc.  I also have some experience within the business industry for making client videos as i'm working for a local businessman of teeside, and my role is to film, edit and produce his content on all forms of social media with my previous experience within business as well, he helps me get clients to film videos for their business or personal bra...
